I lurked in a thread of Bills fans who were ranking their trophy case of sadness. Longtime fans, those who stayed steadfast through 4 straight Super Bowl losses, ranked 13 seconds as the second worst moment in franchise history behind Wide Right -- and all agreed 13 seconds was a fitting introduction to their new fans to the Buffalo franchise.

The 90's Chiefs specialized in those
bigtime October wins. We all know what those wins leave you with if you can't deliver in January -- and that's the trap Bills fans are in right now.
I can't hate on Bills fans. They deserve a title as much as any fanbase. The thing with Allen is that if he is this generation's Favre, he could go on a hot streak to get them over the top. But as we know from watching elite quarterbacks on other rosters in the 90's, that's only if Mahomes can be avoided/overcome in the playoffs.
