He's going pretty high. I don't know if it's 1st round or not but it's going to be close. Someone is going to think they are getting the next Aaron Donald or John Randle. The difference is both of those guys had higher sack totals in multiple collegiate seasons. Donald with 11.5 twice and Randle with 20 and 14. The most Kancey had was 7.5. Overall, it might depend on how teams gauged his level of drive in interviews to work as those two did. I say somewhere in the early 2nd round but it would not surprise me to see him go anywhere outside the top 10.
I'm not especially keen on him as a future Chief unless KC doesn't plan to extend Chris Jones (or trade him, gulp). I think there are some other values out there for rotational 1-gap 3-techs.
