With the 116th pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers are proud to select Jalen Moreno-Cropper, WR, Fresno State.
Green Bay adds to a young and thin receiving room by adding Jalen Moreno-Cropper. I view Moreno as a poor mans Jordan Addison in this draft class. I was surprised how well Jalen's 40 yard dash came in at the combine (4.40), but I see Moreno as a slot receiver at the NFL level. I think his strengths are his release, route running and ability to beat man coverage. Thought he showed well at the Senior Bowl also. I'm worried if he'll be able to survive over the middle in the NFL with the physicality getting ramped up.
Probably a round early to take Moreno-Cropper but he is one of my favorite day 3 receivers in this class.
