Think about how much money Mahomes is making in endorsements compared to a guy like Allen. Josh has to go for the money because he’s not marketable in the way Pat is. Mahomes will end up making more outside of football than he does actually playing. He knows that winning Super Bowls will keep that money flowing long after his career, like Jordan.
He’s not only the best player in football, he’s arguably the smartest. At the very least, he has very wise individuals advising him. Not being the highest paid just makes his reputation look even better.
