Even after things were changed such that the thread title and poll were actually made consistent, the vote is (slightly) more in favor of “no” than “yes.” And that’s not even including the obvious biases in the “virtue signalers” who vote “yes” only to show the world how evolved they are.
And that’s kinda the point. I don’t think voting “no” in this poll means someone is bigot by any stretch. But there’s still discomfort that a lot of people in the NFL and otherwise would have with this sort of interaction. So when someone comes out to the world about their sexuality in this context, it’s not just a nothing story because everyone will understand and be completely fine with it in the same way.
That’s the only point I’ve been attempting to make this entire time. The guy actually puts himself out there and on the line and makes it easier for others like him to do the same. There’s courage in that and I wish more could understand that.

Am I the only person not seeing this?
There were a ridiculous amount of people that accidentally voted no. Even some that didn't post that I know for sure didn't catch it. I think at least 30 of those Nos should be a yes.
