I remember the 71 World Series against my Pirates and Brooks loomed large. The Orioles still have the only pitching staff in MLB history with four pitchers all having 20 wins. A record that I think will never be broken.
The '71 Orioles produced not one, not two, but four 20-game winners - Dave McNally, Jim Palmer, Mike Cuellar, and Pat Dobson.
Great player. RIP to another legend of my youth.
