I remember distinctly plopping this album on the turntable in my man cave to placate the women in the household. As soon as this began I found the sleeve and album liner notes (and Google) to see if someone like Daniel Lanois of U2 production fame was somehow involved. If you listen to her music with any regularity the rock industry influences are pretty apparent. Springsteen for sure, Joni Mitchell certainly, and countless others I can’t quite recall before my second cup of coffee…
