Simone Biles is an incredible athlete at the top of her sport. She is as good at her sport as Mahomes is at his sport, possibly better - though it's foolish to compare individual vs team sports. However, the American Public do not pay nearly as much attention to gymnastics as they do to the NFL. Lots of things in life are inequitable, it turns out.
Taylor Swift is an incredible entertainer and at the top of her profession. She's a financial powerhouse in her industry. She makes way more money than Biles. Lots of things in life are inequitable, it turns out.
These two ladies' beaus are both football players, but one is at a Hall of Fame level.
Should both couples be getting attention? Maybe. Is it fair that one couple is getting more? Maybe, maybe not - but you can see why it might turn out that way.
