Yeah, it's a constant question and frustration.
When I was at Mizzou, I dated a member of the gymnastics team. She complained a lot about the gym times they got, and meal times, and how football and men's hoops got whatever they wanted.
I didn't say anything. (I was an idiot back then, but I wasn't THAT big an idiot).
But I thought about her when I saw the stuff from the Oregon athletes suing about uneven NIL division last week. She's not the only female college athlete I've talked to who complained about what football and men's hoops get vs. female athletes or non-revenue athletes (just the only one I know... intimately), so I think there are some who either don't care or don't realize that their sport only exists because those athletes play sports that generate interest and revenue for everyone else.
