I didn't say anything. (I was an idiot back then, but I wasn't THAT big an idiot).
But I thought about her when I saw the stuff from the Oregon athletes suing about uneven NIL division last week. She's not the only female college athlete I've talked to who complained about what football and men's hoops get vs. female athletes or non-revenue athletes (just the only one I know... intimately), so I think there are some who either don't care or don't realize that their sport only exists because those athletes play sports that generate interest and revenue for everyone else.

This stuff is going to blow up even more now that conference realignment has many of the the sports that are a big net loss flying half way across the country every other week. They're going to have a whole list of stuff to complain about. I wouldn't even be surprised if a lot of the smaller sports programs get dropped all together because of the hassle, while losing money.
