Did Carl cost us a Super Bowl by teaming up with brady? Yeah.
Has he screwed us over numerous times in the regular season? Yeah.
But after the crowd subdued him during the Raiders game after his terrible call against Chris Jones' great sack and strip play, I think he got scared straight. He didn't screw us over in the Super Bowl and actually let us win.
He's still got an ankle monitor on in my book, but I'm going to be charitable and let him leave the referee house occasionally. I'm willing to judge him on his behavior going forward and not on the crimes of his past.
