Here's what I don't get about these decisions - this is one of 32 such jobs in the world. They're highly coveted and highly competitive.
I don't need a reason to fire you. I need a reason not to.
Far too many of these owners seem to need a reason to fire these guys without considering the fact that there's really no reason at all to retain them. Why did the Bears keep Eberflus? The Boys McCarthy? Pure inertia.
Every single season these owners should enter the off-season saying "I need a reason NOT to fire this guy" and if they can't come up with one, move on.
