I Shanahan has a 4th quarter lead this time, or even a 2nd half lead, he's taking the air out of the football. He's not going to give Mahomes time to beat him like he did last time. Or against Brady.
He'll do everything in his power to shorten the 2nd half to 3 or 4 possessions and lead on our perceived (and likely legit) weaknesses in our run defense.
We CANNOT bank on Shanahan going Shanahan this time around. We've gotta stay up/even with the 49ers to pressure him into making a mistake. He's not going to commit an unforced error this time around, IMO.

The stress we put on other teams causes them to try to be more than what they are is usually their undoing. The Ravens totally psyched themselves out in the AFC Championship.
If Shanahan comes out being anything different than what they've been all season, then I like our chances even more.
This game feels as simple as getting consistent pressure on Purdy and not turning the ball over. Barring a case of the fumbles, I think we accomplish both those tasks. All the pressure is on SF.
