So, for example, if the 9ers kicked a FG and they held the Chiefs to a FG, the 9ers would just need one more FG to win it.

We don't have any historical data to get a feel for the actual probabilities, but it's likely gonna be somewhere between 40-60% probabilities for either approach. I still think kicking is the way to go, but it's not the 30-70% variation people are acting like it is.
Yeah, I heard a podcast where the dude quoted some analytics thing (I don't remember and didn't care to look it up at the time) where there was a 54% chance of winning if you kicked. That's barely anything, so it goes to the feel the coach has during the game. **** Shanarat and all, but you can't really hang this one on them. His players saying they didn't know the rules, yeah, that's on you Shanarat, but the call, nah.

Goddamn guys - will you EVER learn? These dudes have rabbit ears. They always have. Mahomes and Kelce take notes. Constantly. And they are going to use those to fuel them.

"Mahomes is regular" is one thing - that's the kind of stuff Pat will internalize and use to motivate him. But man "Everything about being in SF is better than KC" is just a no-go, Charvarius. Because a guy like Kelce is going to use that to motivate EVERYONE. He's going to take that as a slight to every single one of his teammates and coaches.

I think Mahomes knows he has a bit of that Jordan pettiness where he makes mountains out of molehills to fire himself up. But g'damn man, you don't call out their organization, coaches or teammates like that because those dudes will make it their life's mission to feed it to you.

Kelce wanted Ward to know he heard that shit and that he was going to remind him of it.
Compare that to what our guys are doing. On the sideline all the chatter is internal. "Be Great." "MORE" "It's ours, let's get it" that kind of stuff. I'm sure there is trash talk on the field, but everything that makes it out is stuff like "I'm coming for you dog" "all day" etc. Except Mahomes, who is all like "nice hit man". Even the "You woke up the wrong mother****er" shit which I LOVE is all about what's on the field.

There is a lot to be learned about how our main guys carry themselves.
