Not saying the Chiefs won't restructure it at some point, but as of right now we are responsible for cap hits of $24.75 mil. each year for the next 3 years, 2 of which we are pretty much stuck with. We can get out after 2025 with minimal cap impact ($4 mil. in dead money).
So, that was great that we got him for 'less' last year, but I wouldn't say any of the deals today are making me feel extra good about what we will be paying him for the next 2 years.

Let me ask you a question. Let's say you buy a car for $8000, you put $500 down, and have annual payment the next 3 years of $2500. Did you pay $8000 for the car? You do understand that all of these deals signed by guards have bonuses and money that hits differently each year as well. We got Taylor for 4 years for $80 mil. That now looks like a steal.
