What do you mean "my case?"
My only points are there was no competitive advantage (
which I may have proven myself wrong on the previous page here), and that the League decides on penalties, not dempsey and not Chiefs posters in this thread. Duh.
The fact that the League's explanation of, and penalties for, the Redskins' and Cowboys' violations were both MUCH more severe does say something, whether you think so or not.

I recall, a long time ago when we were still talking about this, we wondered what the League meant by saying it "violated cap rules" but declined to say it caused an advantage. THIS would explain that! I don't know why you guys aren't jumping on this, but whatever payments and interest they received for deferring a portion of their salary would almost certainly not be reported to the league or the union, but could easily constitute a violation of the cap. And just because it's "interest" doesn't mean it's a small amount ... it could be a flat fee plus interest, very possibly $100,000 each, maybe more.
