The NFL loves the ‘event’. Considering how things have evolved, name your pro bowl roster. Then, invite the top 50 or so players that are healthy and not in the SB to a skills competition. Then you get your event and do not have to worry about who is actually a pro bowler or the 5th alternate participant.
Similar to what is happening now… but better framing and structure it better. And without the Pro Bowl distinctions.
