I spent more time than I care to admit trying to piece together this puzzle. Initially my selections looked pretty similar to Crow’s, but that wasn’t letting me holistically do what I wanted to do. I also wanted to deviate from having significant overlap in our picks.
I desperately wanted to take Jayden Higgins or Luther Burden to address my WR issues, but I think the reality is both have a lot of competition for receptions and likely will be blocked from breaking out for a few years. I think they both will, just not on my timeline. After swinging and missing 3x last year on getting an immediate impact receiver, I’m going to be patient and let last years trio bake for another season before I decide to invest more early capital at WR again. This decision was made easier because of Horton and Lane being available in the middle rounds. I like both, and both landed in great situations to get early touches (IMO).
