I get that the contracts these guys have nowadays are crazy, and everyone is looking to get paid.
But goddamn, I remember a time when dude's like Mike ****ing Schmidt hung it up in the middle of the season when they realized they didn't have it anymore. Seems like that never happens anymore.
And if it's unclear, I'm referring specifically to guys like Renfroe. Clearly just hanging on, showing up just to get paid when he's obviously washed. Don't guys get embarrassed anymore?
