Mexicans love mayonnaise. They love it so much that in 1912 they ordered a shipment of Helmins mayonnaise to be delivered from England to New York City and Mexico was going come pick it up. Well that shipment never made it to New York City as the ship called the Titanic hit an ice-burg and sank. Mexicans mourned the loss of the mayonnaise and to this day call May 5th Cinco de Mayo.
