In the 1919 World Series, "Shoeless" Joe Jackson had a .375 batting average, 12 hits, no errors, and the only home run for the White Sox. His .375 batting average was the highest on either team. He also had 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. His 12 hits set a Series record that stood until 1964.
