I'm actually suprised that people think artistic talent is reason enough to excuse repetitive criminal behaviour. Would you want a thug like that in your neighborhood? Maybe he could serenade your kids to sleep with his musical talents, while he sells them drugs and steals from you.

For the record, I don't really object to your point of view, I just don't agree with it. You are certainly not the only person who thinks that career criminals should die, and it's a perfectly respectable opinion -- I just don't agree, that's all.
And for the record, I don't think his music AT ALL excuses the stuff he did. I just think that sometimes you have to seperate the art from the artist (see Dixie Chicks, Mozart, etc, etc.).
