I'm in the camp that appreciates Lamar and thinks he is eager to win, but that he is also a bit too trusting of a guy running his franchise who has not shown the ability to win the big one. I'm currently pleased that he isn't extending (to my knowlege) Carl's contract and if we go into the season with Carl needing to deliver in order to get an extension, I'm fine with that. We've consistently been near the top of the league in payroll, so I really don't see how people contend we don't spend the money. We just haven't spent it on the right guys. That's the GM's fault.
As far as Arrowhead, that situation does need to be resolved. People always crying about how Lamar needs to pay for it himself either have no idea what impact a pro football franchise has on Kansas City or don't care. We need to keep up with the Jonses. It isn't all about "the stadium is fine, what's the big deal?" It's about the future, not just right now. They need to come up with a better solution than that Bistate fiasco though. I'm sure they will...
