Yes, until the injuries took it's toll. However, for some reason, NE seems to be doing OK knowing that some of their players are already injured, which in fact, their whole secondary is all banged up.

But at the end, many people, including I, thought Washington would be decent than the year before. They are, defensively, just their offense was killing them. And I would had figured that Denver would be challenging the AFC West along with Kansas City at the beginning of the season, but the Chiefs just blew their wad short of their "destinated" target. Denver was in the running until the loss in SD really hurted them. I'd like to kinda consider a few of Denver's last games during the season as somewhat identical to the Chiefs 2003 last games of the season.
