"They came out and beat us in all phases," Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said. "We were playing for the chance to win the AFC West. We had all the reasons to be ready to play the game. For some reason, they played harder than we did, or they got the job more than we did."
"We missed tackles. You can't put your finger on it," Broncos defensive tackle Keith Traylor said. "We have been trying all year to get ourselves in a good situation. They have been getting 60 to 70 yards (running), and they exploded this game."
"I'm very disappointed. The potential we have and the personnel we have in this locker room, we have the potential to score on every possession. It just makes me sick," Frerotte said.
"I never thought I'd see the day as an offense when we wouldn't get any points on the board," Anderson said. "Today was not fun at all."
