Talk about hitting home. My mother's side of the family has always lived in Monroe and the vicinity [Eros, Bawcomville, Chatham]. I've been to Chennault Park many times and drive by it almost every time we go down there. I have known the basic outline of Delaney's story for a long time, but only recently learned that he drowned in Monroe. I wondered exactly where, and if I'd been there.
