My past examples of a start to excercise commitment:
Day 1. Go to the gym and enroll at the local facility. hit the bike for 30 mins @ 6am. Do free weights for about 35 mins. Shower and off to work
Day 2. The same
Day 3. Same
Day 4. Get to Gym @ 7am, slept in b/c it was too friggin cold to get out of bed. Ride the bike for 20 mins, shower and to work I go.
Day 5-8. Same as Day 4
Day 9. Sleep in till 7. Wife is cooking breakfast for my son. Pancakes, sausage and juice - off to the gym. BS with some guys I know, stare at some hot babes and ride the bike for 10 mins. Stomache starts to cramp and I puke my breakfast in the shower.
Day 10. Sames as above, except instead of riding the bike, I go straight to the registration desk and ask for a partial refund of gym enrollment money.
