I could see the Chiefs trading the #12 for Green, although I would expect them to try to recoup the 2nd they sent to the Rams: Chiefs First and Third for Green and the Second-rounder they sent for Vermeil.
Also, I wouldn't expect the Chiefs to trade any of next years picks. The 2002 draft is said to be one of the best drafts in over a decade, while 2001 is weak at the top of the draft, but deep thru the first 70 or so players.
