I wouldn't be surprised if DV made that statement as some kind of motivation tool for Fujita. I'm sorry but Fuji has been our best LB the last few years. I know the coaching staff are big on Mitchell, but I don't see them honestly making our two best OLB's(Fujita & now Johnson) compete for one spot. Fujita's shown much more than Mitchell, Fox, Caver and Barber. DV's made these kinds of statements before about guys we have just drafted, and it never materialized. We'll see.
