Doh! Me bad. Sorry...thought you were comparing bands. Yes, I'm aware of Dark Star and it's nuances. You do know the Grateful Dead has never played any of their songs with the same musical structure?
What I mean is, like you're saying with Dark Star- that if they were to play U.S. Blues tonight, and then play it a week later, it will be a different U.S. Blues, and then a week later, it will be yet a different U.S. Blues.
