Redskins | Campbell Officially Agrees to Terms

Updating previous reports, Redskins.com reports the Washington Redskins have agreed to terms with rookie QB Jason Campbell on an undisclosed contract. The contract will be official on Tuesday morning, August 2. Campbell is expected to be at Redskins Park and on the field for the team's second day of training camp practices.

Vito Stellino, of the Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars rookie WR Matt Jones, the team's first-round draft pick, has agreed in principle to a five-year deal that with escalators, can be valued around $11 million. He'll make $6.3 million the first year of the contact. Jones is expected to sign the contract Tuesday morning, August 2, after him and one of his agents, Dave Butz, review the contract.
