Well, several of the players that "failed" under Robinson were drafted BY Robinson. He brought in Sims, who everybody has said is a 1-gap player and tried to make him a 2-gap player. If Mitchell busts out this year, he'll be the "proof".
Robinson may have suffered from a lack of talent at some positions, but at others, he simply had no idea how to use it.
