2 years ago, some guy came on the kc.com BB talking about how the Chiefs BETTER draft Mike Peterson at #19 (or whatever pick we had) because he was the absolute BEST LB to ever come out of Fla. Then he proceeded to tell us about his superhuman strength and his accomplishments on and OFF the football field. It became a huge joke amongst us.
He was drafted early in the 2nd round by Indy and has shaped into a pretty good LB - undersized, but he has a nose for the ball - kinda like Zach Thomas. Thomas was a 5th round selection if I remember correctly.
Every once in a while, we spoof the guy. It's fun - but sounds pretty stupid if you aren't "in" on the joke.
