No, that's what Joe Posnanski said what Carl feels takling about how if given the choice of playoff seasons year in and year out with no guarantee of a super bowl or a superbowl but five 4 win seasons after that he would take the playoffs every year and hope to make the superbowl. There wasn't a quote from Carl about that.
