And if you like Symphony X, check out Arjen Anthony Lucassen's Star One "Space Metal." It's a supergroup featuring Arjen (Ayreon), "Sir" Russell Allen (Symphony X), Floor Jansen (After Forever), and a couple other vocalists whose names momentarily escape me. All the songs are based on famous sci-fi movies, except for "Intergalactic Space Crusaders" (the rockingest song on it), which is based on a British sci-fi series, and the opening track "Set Your Controls' which is not based on anything but instead serves to introduce the theme of the album. The featured films include Star Wars, Star Trek IV, 2001: A Space Oddyssey, and Stargate, among others. Incredible music!

Oh yeah, I've got all of those.
Star One is good stuff, as usual from Arjen Luccassen. Damian Wilson and the amazing Dan Swano are the other vocalists on there. I've also got Demons & Wizards two albums, self titled and "Court of the Crimson King." In fact, I might listen to "Blood on My Hands" and the incomparable "Fiddler on the Green" right now.
