I watched this show on HBO about 12yr olds and the things they are doing. It interviewed boys, girls, parents and teachers. The talk coming from the 12yr old girls was scaring the shit out of me(I have a 6yr old). The casualness of "there's nothing wrong with giving a guy a bj if you like him" floored me. The guys were like we were in high school, get what you can when you can. The parents were astounded to learn that little Mary and Timmie were performing the same rituals they did at 16-17 yrs.
The thing I took away from this was: 1) it is never too early to teach your kids about sex, and 2) know who their friends and their parents are.
