Did you forget who our GM and owner are? Daivd Glass was the first person to tell the KC Star that the Royals made a profit 2 seasons ago after a 100 game loss season. Who here really gives a shit about the Royals making a profit if the Royals are losing? He will never bring in good players. Once the younger players develope into stars he will trade them away for money and maybe a draft pick or a couple prospects or something reeruned like that. He has all the money in the world to spend on good players, but he wont do it because its a business and he wants to make money. Hell our payroll is not that much more than the triple A team in Omaha. Thats sad. It's more like we would support the team if the team could at least compete with a double A team. I bet our triple A team could beat the Major League Royals on a consistant basis.
