How many times does it have to be spelled out to you. Dye, Damon, and Beltran did not want to and would not have under any circumstances signed with the Royals. Allard had to trade them when he did. Granted he probably could have gotten more in the way of talent for them but he had to trade them or lose them to free agency. I wish Allard wouldn't have been so locked into having to get a C and a 3B for Carlos. I think if he would have tried to get the best possible prospects no matter what the position, then we would have been better off.
