Yeah, all that and we are still the most powerful country on earth. We could widen the gap between us and second place if we could get the drunks, dimwits and liars out of government. But when it takes millions of dollars to get elected President for the 400,000 per year (or whatever it pays now) you ain't gonna get somebody honest. You're gonna get somebody's stooge. That's why I quit voting 20 years ago. I used to believe in this system just like these young Planet members do. Now I just laugh at them as we spirit them off to DC. I will guarantee you they will be even more jaded than I am when they reach my age of 61.
