Of course, I am never, never a 'noun' (since I is not a PERSON, place or thing). Furthermore, my status as being in academia is never brought up here in the pejorative.  You are trying to define a word completely outside of its context, which is a big, big no no (but I'm sure that it serves you well when you are suing someone for asbestos contamination) Get real.
