I know I've walked into a flame war, but I honestly believe that he wouldn't have been let go if something wasn't going on. Maybe they noticed that he's slipping (though it seems like FBs can play till they're 45
), maybe it was some sort of contract dispute. But even Carl doesn't get rid of one of his guys for no reason.
