I'm pretty sure everything's real. He's been featured on a number of legit news shows, according to
Wikipedia anyway. I suppose a couple of the shots COULD be faked, but it would seem rather pointless if the overall idea was true. Also, he's from Australia, so faking the shot from Sydney of all places wouldn't make much sense.
