If a standard "chkdsk /r" from the recovery console doesn't help, usually manufacturer's utilities (i.e. Maxtor's MaxBlast) are about the only other options that I've ever found will help.

the chkdsk /r could not repair the problem i need something stronger... i will check with the mftr
