That isn't my call to make. I'm sure that 90% of the 12 year old actresses out there AREN'T mature enough to make that decision. That's why we have to let the guardian have a say in the matter, and if he or she is any kind of responsible director, he or she will pick a 12 year old girl whom he or she deems mature and able to handle a role that requires such a scene that is potentially damaging to a young girl's psychi.
But a rape scene is potentially harmfull to adults too... These are considerations that must be made NO MATTER the actresses age. The pool of mature, and professional actresses at age 12 is just smaller. But the morality of the issue is the same to me.
