And see I'm of the persuasion that the more senses you can involve in something the more vivid it becomes. Just imagine if during a gunfight scene you could smell the gunpowder or something of that sort. It would make the movie seem a lot more vivid.

Some people do imagine a lot in their head, and some don't. Those who do think its best left to the imagination, while others seem to think its better when shown. Although I have a strong imagination, I respond a lot more to actually seeing it, cause then I have a concrete image that cannot be altered. Then again, I'm a very visual learner.
