The intarweb junkies caught wind of it, and it's sheer cheesiness made it an intarweb phenom. A "meme", if you will. (Look that up on wikipedia) It created a lot of "buzz"... so they decided to embrace the cheese. (So to speak)
Anyway, it became a cult classic before it was ever released. All the nerds will have to see it before they (we) lose interest.
