Jeffrey Flanagan's article in the Star today mentioned there were "whispers in the Royals organization that Gordon will be the one looking for a new position."
I WILL be buying a Teahan jersey soon!

I think those "whispers" are from concessions vendors as opposed to actual decision makers. (Who else will give Flanagan the time of day?)
Regardless, that jersey is a safe bet. I certainly don't want to trade him. He's our best hitter right now, our best clutch hitter, far and away our best baserunner, etc. His defense at 3rd is still sopradic, but we need his bat and presence somewhere in our lineup, now and in the future.
