Herm was handpicked by DV? That's the first anybody's heard of that. As far as I understood it, DV was kicked to the curb at the end of that contract and CP brought in Herm. I'd even venture to guess DV might have stayed on if offered another short contract. On top of that, Al Saunders was definitely DV's successor-of-choice, IMO. But let's attribute another questionable decision to DV while we're at it.....
