1. Priest Holmes will not play fullback. Guy had a compression injury to his spine, it's goaline and backup duty from here on out for the priest, unless he gets traded.
2. Priest Holmes does have some trade value. Fourth round pick, maybe...I am thinking a five or a six. A Shrewd move would be to carry priest through t.c. make him play a bunch in the preseason, and first game or two of the regular season, and then trade him before the deadline. That way he could see a fourth, or third or whatever depending on his performance. L.J. gets rested @ the beginning of the season, priest starts for a new team, everyone wins.
So don't tell me if he has 300 yds rushing in two games @ the beginning of the year, cleveland, or houston isn't going to pop off a decent pick to get some of that. He is still capable of that.
3. Priest would be an excellent backup for the chiefs next year. Bennett has been hurt half of the season, and even though he has some speed, he don't know the offense, and isn't like priest in the passing game or around the goalline. Bennet should have a decent year, and then will hit the road if Priest comes back, bank on it. If we keep bennett Till June 1st, Priest will probably be traded, if he hasn't already. My feeling is he won't quit, because of how he went out last year.
