FWIW, Denver/Cinnci are guaranteed one more win since they play each other. So, we need the loser of that game to lose 2 AND the Jets (who still play Oakland) and Jacksonville both need to lose the rest of their games.
I don't know why people are hoping though. We controlled our destiny and lost to the Browns. We were still in it and couldn't beat the Ravens at home. With the odds stacked against us and the emotions from Lamar Hunt's passing, we couldn't muster enough mojo to even score a TD against the Chargers. I can't believe people actually think we deserve the playoffs. AND, does anyone really think we can win 3 straight games on the road to get to the SB against some of the best teams in the AFL?
Play the Rooks, lose, get a top 10 draft pick and also maybe pick up a first round prospect that drops to the top of the 2nd round. It's time to play for the future.

Oh no, I have no illusions of us making the playoffs. I was just commenting on GoChiefs' statement that he'd shave his head if San Francisco beat Denver (he didn't qualify it with anything else).
I can absolutely see San Francisco being a 2006 version of one of those teams that finish the year strong. I can see them beating Denver.
